AWESOME HAPPY HOUR!
We had fantastic service! Everyone was really friendly and the food was out of this world. We would definitely come back here! If you're looking for great Italian food this is your place.
I actually enjoy this restaurant. Food is good. Service is normally good. Tried to book a large group for an office party recently. Poor management and communication. I’ve never felt like a restaurant was actually trying to lose business before but Venice definitely was. They lost a regular group of customers since we usually have our office party there. I normally don’t leave bad reviews but this time I did because I addressed it with management and there was still no apology for the lack of communication. Just be weary of trying to do anything more than a party of five at this restaurant...
Food was very good. Unfortunately both of our meals were missing key items from our Postmates order yesterday.
If you want to experience beautiful ambience with beautiful downtown view, this is the place. Visited this place for team lunch and all of us were amazed by decorations inside. True Italia restaurant. We all ordered different dishes and the presentation was superb, especially my colleague ordered hat shaped pasta dipped in marinara sauce. The servers a e very nice and gave us royal treatment. Tastewise I tried the dishes for the first time and I liked it. I am kinda spiced food person so it was new for me. But definitely try it out.
The lamb chops here are so amazingly delicious and the stagg is wonderful. Also thier wine selection is very impressive!
We went to Venice as part of a small family reunion dinner. The food was great, having a lot of picky eaters and kids with allergies, it’s hard to make everyone in my family happy but they managed it! Service was all smiles and very welcoming. We felt comfortable, had a great dinner with good wine, and left happy. Looking forward to my next visit here!
This place did NOT disappoint! I have been on the hunt for the best carpaccio and Cesar salad...... ok and maybe short rib too!We definitely did not expect the carpaccio to be that big... for two people we could only finish half. It had fried capers and just the right amount of olive oil. By far one of the best I have ever had. The only disappointing thing about this dish was that we forgot our left overs at the restaurant. Next we split a Cesar salad. Again, fried capers (genius!) and the perfect amount of dressing. I got the short rib boar dish, which was fantastic. The ravioli didn't disappoint either. Great flavor. Memorable experience. Will definitely recommend and come back!
This is a long overdue 5 Star review! Venice deserve more than 5 stars!! They are truly one of Denver’s best kept secrets! Such a gem! I’ve been going here for years for so many reasons: amazing staff, great food, top notch service, personable and detailed. I love their carpaccio! It’s seriously the best Ive ever had anywhere. Capital Grille’s carpaccio doesn't hold a candle to theirs! Thanks to Paco and his team for always going out of their way to make us feel special and welcome. We will always support Venice. If you want Italian this is the spot! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great Place, excellent service, yummy food!
I am vegan and I probably wouldn’t have chosen to go here for that reason but my partners family made reservations and it turned out really well. I requested a pasta dish without cheese and the waitress asked me if I had an allergy and I said I’m just vegan. When she brought the pasta out she said “the vegan _________” which was reassuring that she hadn’t forgotten and the kitchen knew etc. it appeared they had added extra vegetables in place of the cheese and it was quite delicious. It was a delicious meal and a great service experience for everyone. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I spent Christmas day at Venice.I took my mom and my sister from Italy. They were very happy!!!!We ordered a bottle of Prosecco.Arancini and calamari as appetizers.3 pasta dishes as main course.Very good. Very happy.
Always great food, always worth the wait. Their chicken Alfredo is incredible- homemade sauce that melts in your mouth. AND they have gluten free pasta!!!
The best Italian in Denver.... Arguably the best RESTAURANT in Denver! Best staff. Best chef. You are missing out if you haven’t been!!
The food was great! The service was not though. We go for the food obviously, but our waitress was consistently off. She seemed new which is fine, but had mishaps at multiple points. Would easily give them 5 stars if our waitress was up to par.
Amazing food and decor in a beautiful space in downtown Denver. Delicious bread, too! Got the special, linguine with fruit de la mare (pardon my lack of Italian skills). It was delicious; perfectly cooked pasta, a great portion size, and amazing sauce and seafood. Will definitely return.
Great service! Huge wine selection! Great atmosphere and delicious entrees. Treated us special!
Excellent new selections. Service wonderful.
Very good and classy service. The food was amazing! Price tag was around $55 plus tip for 2 people (two pasta plates and sodas) and even though it looks like the food was not going to be enough, it was just the perfect amount. Very nice place to take your significant other.
Beautiful food, delicious wine. Natasha, pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful. Ask her what's up. ✔️
Service was excellent, our host was Italian! Dinner was excellent, warm bread served first while you wait, the linguini with bolognese sauce was hearty although the portion was smaller than one would expect at an Italian place. My friend had chicken with vegetables and mashed potatoes which she loved. The cream puffs with chocolate mousse was a great finish. Upscale dining and prices but made for a lovely big city experience on New Year's Eve.
Certainly not cheap, but for upscale italian, this place is great for a special occasion or a fancy date. Try the carbonara (6 stars out of five) or the Veal w/ mushrooms. Service and atmosphere all quite nice!
Great Food and a fantastic wine list. The sea bass was exquisite!
Pretty good experience overall, had a great time. The food was pretty dang yum, but our server wasn't as...enthusiastic as we prefer, probably a very traditional type Italian server, nothing to dock a star for. We'll be back!
The food was absolutely delicious. It is pricey but definitely worth it if you are having a nice date night. The food tastes fresh. The waiter was very attentive and helped make recommendations.
Great menu and hundreds of wines.
Best wine bar with happy hour around Union Station. GREAT bartender. Go "steal" a small sausage and pepper pizza for $6.
This place is absolutely amazing I loved these salmon entree that they had their espresso however is just a little bit too bitter but not everybody can get it right so I totally understand! 5 stars!
Wanted some Italian near Union station and ended up choosing here for a weekday for lunch, it was delicious. The boar in my pasta was extremely tender and made me want to try cooking some boar. The noodles are homemade, and nothing compares to homemade noodles. Will definitely return for more of their noodles. Our server was very helpful and had awesome recommendations for what to eat. Their dinner menu is more expensive than their lunch menu, so I would really recommend going for lunch if you want to save some money. But you can see both menus and prices on their website. Our reservation was lost but I think that was an issue with the service they use to make them.
Good spot for a glass of wine.
Food was delicious, service was great. Atmosphere very classy
Food is ok. Very simple charcuterie. For the price you pay, you would think the atmosphere and service would be exponential. I've been to places with the same pricey prices and they've provided better service than here.
We had the pleasure of dining in the exquisite Venice last night and absolutely loved it. Francisco, Jad, Jacob and staff made us feel so special. The food was honestly the best Italian food I have ever had. Jacob (our waiter) recommended several fabulous pasta dishes. We chose a variety which were all delicious (Butternut squash was my favorite) but all of them were fantastic. We also enjoyed some fabulous appetizers - melon prosciutto and the burrata. House salad, kids meals (spaghetti, mac and cheese) were also incredible. Last but not least, they spoiled us with canolis and tiramisu for dessert which were simply divine. We highly recommend giving this place a visit. We were 8 moms and daughters on a girls night out, but this place is ideal for couples date night or family get together. Atmosphere, music, food quality and service was superb. We look forward to our next meal here - hopefully sooner than later.
Great food and a nice atmosphere
Great Food, Great Friends, Great Service... Totally Recommend !!!
Great place, reasonably priced, excellent wine, food, staff and ambiance. Friday night at 6 and everything went great. Would certainly go back
Very good food with reasonable portions. I had the lamb chops and would happily order it again.
Trendy spots come and go but high quality and delicious Italian never goes out of style at Venice. The pasta is freshly made, the portions are substanial and the service is impeccable. Paco, the GM, is amazing. Great for large group dinners or a romantic dinner for two.
The bartenders Dennis and Kevin are worth the trip to venice. They are super friendly and both have amazing knowledge and they will keep not only your drink full but you water as well. Great experience and lots of witty banter. The people i was sitting with love these guys. Like Arnold Schwarzenager once said "Ill be back!"
My wife and I are here during Valentine's weekend. The service was awesome and the food was great. We would definitely go back
The best Italian food I have had so far. The server was amazing and took time to explain the dishes and suggested all 3 courses and we loved it. The desserts were drooliciously good. I would love to go back and sample the other items on the menu
Friendly staff. Knowledgeable wine experts. Awesome happy hour food and drink choices. Ambience unmatched. Must visit destination. Private wine lockers for the select chosen.
Don’t have much to say other than the hostess was unhelpful, our waiter rolled his eyes when we said we wouldn’t be having drinks, again when we didn’t order appetizers, and then we found a string in our bread basket and our waiter’s response was, “it’s not hair, it’s some kind of fiber.” He wasn’t going to help at all until I asked if we could have a new basket of bread, at which he rolled his eyes again. At that point we got up and left. I would hope this was a one-off bad experience and that the wait staff were simply having a bad day but seeing as this is a fine-dining establishment and we were prepared to spend accordingly, I expect to be treated with at least a general respect and cordiality. We will not be returning to Venice.
What an amazing dining experience we had last night at Venice. Finally a restaurant in Denver that understands the importance of a great customer experience. We were there last night and had a party of12.Here's what I liked:-Great menu with a bevy of choices-Prosciutto with melon appetizer-vast wine list-great decor and ambiance-all the food is incredible, from the veal meatballs, the veal saltimbocca, the lamb chops to the desserts.-Our waitress, Rachel, is the best waitress I've had in a long time. She took care of our party and was the Lead with few other gals helping. Everyone at the table was blown away by the over the top great service.I highly recommend Venice. One if the best restaurants in Denver.Be sure and ask for Rachel.
We had our company holiday lunch at the Greenwood Village location and everything was amazing! Ashley, the event coordinator, made sure to provide everything we needed and more! I had to change things up on her at the last minute and she was so accommodating and wonderful to work with! Our lead server Zach (sp) went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and we couldn't have been more pleased! On top of that the food was phenomenal! Highly recommend!
We went there for our anniversary Friday night. I'm glad we did. We were greeted with free champagne and free dessert at the end. Food was delicious, service was exceptional. Our waiter, (I wish I remember his name), was so sweet and kind. Really enjoyed my experience there, the people and food were just awesome. Thanks for helping make our anniversary special. One thing I would change was the table setting was so overwhelming when holding a menu. There was so much, and it took awhile for them to remove it. But otherwise excellent.
I went here for dinner while staying in Denver for the weekend. The Cioppino Tuscano was delicious. The calamari was great. I paired my entrée with the Santo Polo Rubio Tuscana. Overall a good experience. I would give it 4.5 stars, mainly because the service left a little too be desired. All of the food was great. The kids portions looked like adult portions. I would definitely go back.
We were there with a friend and ordered from the restaurant week menu. Everything was very good, a lot of bang for the buck. They have an extensive wine menu and a limited beer selection. The service was quick and friendly. We all enjoyed our food and shared our selections.
Very nice Italian food, we love it, and thanks to the staff! The interior design is also great! This restaurant is highly recommended!
Without a doubt, my favorite Italian Restaurant in Denver!!! Always a wonderful experience.
Asked if the kitchen could make me a Veal Parm and they obliged. Was far better than expected. Service was stellar across rhe board. Was our 1st time out post Covid and it was a wonderful experience!!
